The Jacobite Syrian Christian Church is the Malankara archdiocese of the Syriac Orthodox Church, in communion with the Patriarch of Antioch and led in India by the Catholicos based at Puthencruz. Its liturgy is West Syriac, and its parishes are concentrated in central Kerala with a large diaspora in the Gulf, Europe, North America and Australia.
