Latin Catholic and Syro-Malankara families are present in numbers too, alongside Bengaluru's own long-established Catholic population.

The couple settles in Bengaluru. Both sets of parents stay in Kerala. Feasts, weddings and the summer holidays are spent at home, and the family's identity remains anchored to a parish four hundred miles away.
