The Jacobite Syrian Christian Church is the Malankara archdiocese of the Syriac Orthodox Church, in communion with the Patriarch of Antioch and led in India by the Catholicos based at Puthencruz. Its liturgy is West Syriac, and its parishes are concentrated in central Kerala with a large diaspora in the Gulf, Europe, North America and Australia.
Jacobite families often ask for a match from their own diocese, and the Knanaya Jacobite community keeps its own archdiocese at Chingavanam. Jesus Choice Matrimonial records the diocese and parish on every profile so either search is possible.
